The second part of the jaal collection is the result of an experimental phase using a small dobby loom that allows the maximum freedom in weaving. In these fabrics the theme of connection and interlacing became materialised by symbioses of different techniques like classical weaving and traditional basketry or knotting, or by connecting yarns through thermoplastical transformation.
The aim of the process of developing the hand crafted jaal fabrics was to leave the conventional way of producing cloth and thus find unusual methods to create new textile visions.
